The body believed to be that of an Australian man has been discovered inside a villa in the seaside Bali town of Sanur.
Indonesian Police made the gruesome discovery around 4.20pm local time on Monday.
The 63-year-old was reportedly found lying naked and lifeless on a bed and had suffered cuts to his face and wounds to his arm, The Sydney Morning Herald reports.

It’s believed the victim, originally from Perth, had been renting the Bali property.
Investigations into the man’s death are underway.
