Australian man reportedly detained in Bali after marijuana found in suitcase
AN Australian man has reportedly been detained by Indonesian Police in Bali after a small amount of marijuana and antidepressant pills were found in his suitcase.
The man, believed to be from Queensland, is in police custody but is yet to be officially declared a suspect, News Corp reports.
The drugs were reportedly found after the man’s bags were put through the x-ray machine at the airport on Monday.
According to the Today Show, the man escaped police custody, however was arrested at a Kuta Hotel 10 hours later.
