Australian woman dies in Bali scooter accident
An autopsy will be carried out after an Australian woman died in Bali.
It’s believed the 26-year-old had come off her scooter in Canggu, North Kuta, just minutes before she was found by a passer-by lying face down in a gutter, about 3am on Thursday.
Her Honda scooter was lying on its side about two-metres away with its engine still running.
Police were called and the woman was taken to a nearby medical clinic but she was pronounced dead shortly after.
The death has been reported to the Australian consulate.
