Australia’s Olympic tennis team named

Australia’s tennis team for the Rio Olympics, has been named, with Lleyton Hewitt made Team Manager.

The Coast’s Sam Stosur and Daria Gavrilova will play in the singles in Brazil next month, and will also pair up in doubles.

Thanasi Kokkinakis and John Millman both earned themselves Games selection.  Their names were called out after Nick Kyrgios and Gold Coaster Bernard Tomic withdrew.

Kokkinakis has been on the sidelines since October with a shoulder injury.

Mixed doubles teams are yet to be announced.
