Australia’s most wanted father and son duo sentenced to jail
Former fugitives, father-and-son duo Gino and Mark Stocco have been sentenced to 40 years behind bars.
The pair, who had been on the run for eight years, surrendered to NSW police at a property at Elong Elong in October 25.
They were charged with multiple offences including the murder of a 68-year-old grandfather, who was found in a shallow grave at the rural property the Stoccos were arrested at.
Gino Stocco, 59, was sentenced to 40 years behind bars with a parole period of 28 years, while Mark Stocco, 37, was sentenced to 40 years jail, with a parole period of 30 years.
