Gold Coast police say the matter is out of their hands, after reports a movie production here was in breach of lockdown rules.
Officers were called to the film production of the Jessica Watson biopic ‘True Spirit’ around Chevron Island on Tuesday morning.
It’s understood a member of the public made the complaint, that the production wasn’t adhering to the strict lockdown rules that the rest of the southeast is under.

Acting Chief Superintendent Rhys Wildman has confirmed that police were called there, but they’re not involved anymore.
“Those inquiries are being handled by Queensland Health, and obviously those police attended that location and we’re forward those inquiries through to Queensland Health and they’re making inquiries in relation to that.
“It’s a Queensland Health matter,” Acting Chief Superintendent Wildman said.
