Baby and three women injured in separate Gold Coast incidents

Gold Coast paramedics were kept busy overnight, called out to multiple reports of injury around the city.

They were first called to a home in Southport just after 6.15 pm, following reports a woman had been bitten by a dog.

They briefly assessed the adult woman for a wound to her hand, before taking her to hospital for further treatment.

She’s in a stable condition.

It’s not clear what breed of dog was involved.

Paramedics were then called to Bundall, where a car had crashed into a lake.

It happened along Ken Russell Court, with crews arriving around 7.00 pm.

No one was found in the vehicle and paramedics weren’t required.

Just an hour later, three cars collided on the M1 on-ramp in Arundel.

A baby and two women required assistance at the scene and were all taken to the Gold Coast Hospital in stable conditions.

There was also an alleged assault in Surfers Paradise, and a home invasion in Southport overnight.
