Both the pram and baby were pinned under the vehicle which was being driven by the child’s mother.

It’s understood the family had been attending a funeral at a church on the same street and were preparing to leave when the unimaginable tragedy occurred.

The infant was rushed to Brisbane’s Lady Cilento Children’s Hospital in a critical condition.

Sadly, the seven-month-old boy succumbed to his injuries and died shortly after arriving at the hospital.

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
