Baby rushed to hospital after being run over by car in NSW

A 19-month-old boy is in a serious but stable condition in hospital after he was run over by a car at a property in Kyogle on Wednesday.

His 44-year-old father was repairing a car at the Hill Street property on Wednesday afternoon when he attempted to ‘roll start’ the vehicle.

However, tragedy struck when the vehicle rolled back over his young son.

The man rendered first aid until NSW Ambulance Paramedics arrived; who took the child to Kyogle Hospital for assessment.

The child was later taken to Lismore Hospital for specialised treatment.

His condition is described as being serious but stable.

An investigation is underway.
