Baby hospitalised after pram hit by car

A BABY boy has been taken to hospital after his pram was hit by a car in Labrador on Thursday afternoon.

Paramedics said the baby – believed to be six-months-old – was being pushed in a pram along Clayton Street when it was struck by a car around 3.14pm.

The infant was transported to Gold Coast University Hospital with a head injury.


An ambulance spokesperson said the baby was conscious, alert and responsive on transport to hospital.

The driver of the vehicle has also been taken to hospital, believed to be suffering from shock.
