Back-to-school vaccination blitz starts on the Gold Coast

The Queensland Government is launching a back-to-school vaccination blitz this weekend ahead of the start of the new school year.

Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk announced on Friday that pop-up vaccination clinics would return to more than 50 schools across the state from today.

The Gold Coast is an area that is being specifically targeted as vaccination rates in children here continue to lag behind others areas.
