Bags banned at Ariana Grande’s Australian concerts in wake of terror attack

BAGS, laptops, and iPads are among the list of items now strictly banned from entering concert venues across Australia as agencies beef up security ahead of Ariana Grande’s tour down under.

A strict no bag policy will be enforced at venues hosting the American superstar’s ‘Dangerous Woman’ concerts in Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane next week, Nine News revealed on Saturday.

It’s understood only small, see-through plastic bags will be allowed into concert arenas.

According to Nine News, concertgoers will also be screened, and random searches will be carried out.

Grande is believed to have personally requested the heightened security in the wake of the deadly terror attack which killed 23 people, mostly children, at her Manchester concert in May.

Fans are being urged to arrive at venues early to allow extra time for security screening.
