Balcony fall victims taken to Gold Coast University Hospital with head injuries
THREE people have been taken to hospital after falling from a balcony at a house in Tweed Heads.
Police said two men and a woman were on the balcony of the Seaview Street home just before 1am on Sunday when all three somehow slipped through a railing and plunged several metres to the ground below.
It’s understood the trio landed on a concrete path and garden rocks.
The two men were taken to the Gold Coast University Hospital with head injuries, while the 39-year-old woman was taken to Tweed Heads Hospital with a broken wrist and lacerations and bruising to her torso.
The Seaview Street home was declared a crime scene and examined by forensic police this morning.
Investigations into how the trio managed to slip through the railing are continuing.
