Bali nine member Renae Lawrence could be freed from jail by next year.
She’s serving 20 years for her part in the 2004 Bali nine heroin smuggling plot, but this could be reduced as part of Indonesia’s annual Independence Day sentence remissions.
Lawrence is among 24 foreigners in Bali’s prisons who were recommended for sentence cuts on Thursday.

Since her arrest she’s been moved from the notorious Kerobokan prison to a smaller, lower security prison in the country’s north.
In the 12 years since her arrest she’s currently shaved five years off her sentence through good behaviour.
