Bandido charged after police seize more than $20k drugs from Oxenford home

A Bandido has been charged with drug offences following a raid at an Oxenford residence.

As a result of ongoing investigations into the criminal offences by members of Outlaw Motorcycle Gangs (OMCG), detectives from Taskforce Maxima, State Crime Command executed a search warrant at an Oxenford, Gold Coast address on Friday October 23.


This search allegedly resulted in the location of ICE, cannabis, cocaine, MDMA tablets, steroids and other restricted drugs, valued at approximately $20,000.

As a result, a 25-year-old Oxenford man, the Sergeant-at-Arms of the Bandidos OMCG mid north coast chapter was arrested and charged earlier today with six counts of possession of dangerous drugs, two counts of possession of restricted drugs and one count of possess property suspected of being acquired for the purpose committing a drug offence.

He will appear in the Southport Magistrates Court tomorrow.

“Once again we are seeing members of Outlaw Motorcycle Gangs allegedly involved in drug offences. In this case, it is a person in authority within the gang allegedly in possession a variety of dangerous drugs, including ICE and over 100 MDMA tablets.

“Offenders need to understand that whilst they continue to commit offences, we will continue to target them. The community expect us to do this and accordingly, we will be relentless in our efforts,” Detective Inspector Brendan Smith from Task Force Maxima said.
