UPDATE: A GROUP of Bandidos bikies have appeared in Southport Magistrates Court on Tuesday, for a pre-trial mention over the Broadbeach brawl.
Those accused of taking part in the fight that sparked the state’s tough new laws will now go to trial on Monday May 5, 2015.
The strict bail conditions applied to them earlier are still in place and they are still restricted from talking to each other.

EARLIER: MORE than 20 Bandidos Bikies, accused of being involved in the infamous Broadbeach brawl, will be in court on Tuesday.
The group are said to be in Southport Magistrates Court from 9am for a pre-trial mention, following the incident in September last year.
It comes as Queensland police claim they have made good progress against bikies, with more than 1600 members and associates arrested since the statewide crackdown began.
Police made the revelation following a number of raids across the southeast across the weekend.
Six people who were part of, or linked to, the Rebels, Bandidos and Lone Wolf gangs were arrested in the raids – which also took place on the Gold Coast and Redcliffe – on a range of drug and weapon offences.
