Bandits with sledgehammers frighten cleaners at Sydney restaurant

A Sydney restaurant’s been targeted by robbers armed with sledgehammers early on Saturday morning.

Two cleaners were in the Rosebery business when four people – armed and with their faces covered – smashed in the front glass door at about 2.50am.

The cleaners were able to escape while the four looked for cash.  They didn’t find any so left in a small silver hatchback.
