Barbershop owner charged over alleged cocaine supply

A Sydney barber has been charged over the alleged ongoing supply of cocaine in the Lower North Shore.

Police allege the 26-year-old supplied more than 50g of cocaine between July and August this year.

He was taken into custody at a shopping centre in North Sydney just after 8.30am on Thursday 22 August.

He’s since been charged with supply prohibited drug on an ongoing basis, supply prohibited drug (indictable quantity x4), and possess prohibited drug.

The arrest comes following extensive inquiries by detectives from the State Crime Command’s Drug and Firearms Squad into the supply of illicit drugs across Sydney.

The Ramsgate Beach man has been granted conditional bail to appear at Manly Local Court today.

Investigations are ongoing.
