A Gold Coast resident has had a lucky escape after their BBQ burst into flames at a home in Nerang this morning.
Emergency crews were called to a property on Nerang River Drive around 7.30am.
It’s understood the BBQ was in a patio area when it erupted.
Thankfully it took fire crews just a couple of minutes to bring it under control.
No one was injured.
