ALL Gold Coast beaches remain off-limits as a dangerous swell continues to pound the coastline.
Residents woke to another wet and windy day on the Coast following a blustery night with winds gusting at 70km/h.
Minor scarping has been reported at Main Beach and Narrowneck but otherwise the city’s beaches appear to be holding up well, according to Council.

The Weather Bureau warns conditions are hazardous for activities such as rock fishing, boating, and swimming.
Beaches will remain closed today and tomorrow, before conditions are reassessed on Sunday.
A hazardous surf warning issued on Thursday is likely to remain in place for at least the next 36 hours.
The warning covers the Fraser Island Coast, and both the Sunshine Coast and Gold Coast Waters.
People are advised to stay out of the water and avoid walking near surf-exposed areas.
