He’s been silent for three weeks, but last night, Beau Ryan finally addressed the cheating accusations made against him.
In the first few minutes of The Footy Show’s NRL grand final special, Beau awkwardly apologised for the alleged affair he had with former Hi-5 star Lauren Brant.
“Firstly I just want to apologise to all the people who have been hurt recently,” Ryan said.

“It’s been really, really hard for myself and my family and everyone involved.
“I want to thank everyone for their support, thank everyone who has been very respectful of our privacy and I’d love for everyone to continue to do that.
“But I’m not here to talk about my private life, I’m here to talk about a Grand Final.
“I’m just happy to be back.”
Following the apology, which did not specifically name his wife Kara, the former Wests Tigers and Cronulla winger than quickly returned to being the funnyman character on the show.
In September, Lauren’s ex-fiance Warren Riley broke the news that Beau and Lauren had allegedly slept together twice while they were involved in the Sydney production of Aladdin And His Wondrous Lamp in July.
