A storm map showing the areas of the southeast most affected by weather has been created by meteorologists.
Springfield, Ipswich, Boonah, Beaudesert, Esk and Jimboomba are amongst the worst affected by extreme weather, according to University of Queensland researchers.
Meteorologists used 19 years of data from the Bureau and two years of observations from weather stations to create the map.
