Beenleigh home torched in domestic violence dispute

A couple will face court after both allegedly contravened domestic violence orders that led to a house fire just north of the Gold Coast.

Police say the pair got into an argument at a Beenleigh home, about 11.30am on Saturday.

During the argument the 43-year-old woman has allegedly stabbed the man with a steak knife causing two minor wounds to the stomach.

Both will face Beenleigh Magistrates Court tomorrow, also accused of contravening domestic violence orders.
