Beloved therapy dog stolen by heartless thieves

Police are digging for leads after Tallow, a seven-month-old therapy dog, was stolen from the backyard of a home in Melbourne last week.

It’s believed the King Charles Cavalier was taken from a secured back garden on Waiora Road sometime in the morning of Saturday 9 December.

Investigators say the pup is not only a beloved family member, but is also a therapy dog for children in foster care.

“He provides support to children dealing with trauma,” Victoria Police said in a statement.

The micro-chipped Cavalier is tri colour, black, brown and white and has a distinctive white mark on his back.
