Bernard Tomic has snapped his first-round losing streak with a win at the Stuttgart Open.
The Australian won his opening round clash against Frenchman Stephane Robert 6-1 5-7 6-2.
He’ll now face Tomas Berdych in the second round.

Tomic had just five win and 12 losses coming in to the match and had lost in the opening round of his last three tournaments.
The 24-year-old is now ranked 48th in the world, after slipping from 26th at the start of the year, while Berdych is ranked no.14.
Meanwhile, over at the Rotterdam Open in The Netherlands, fellow Australian Thanasi Kokkinakis claimed his first ATP Tour win since August of 2015.
The 21-year-old, who missed the back end of 2015 and all of 2016 with shoulder and abdominal injuries, was playing just his third match of 2017 when he beat Russian veteran Mikhail Youzhny 6-4 7-5 in the first round.
