Bernard Tomic ‘not feeling well’ before loss at French Open

Bernard Tomic said he felt dizzy and wanted to throw up during his second round loss at the French Tennis Open.

The Gold Coaster was seen by medical staff during the third set before going down to Croatia’s Borna Coric in four-sets.

There’s talk he may be suffering from a virus.

Davis Cup coach Lleyton Hewitt and 17th seed Nick Kyrgios were in the stands watching as Tomic went down 3-6 6-2 7-6 (7-4) 7-6 (8-6).

The only remaining Australians in the singles draw will be in action on Friday.  Kyrgios faces Frenchman Richard Gasquet.

Samantha Stosur will do battle with last year’s runner-up Lucie Safarova.
