Bernard Tomic suffers first-round loss at China’s Chengdu Open

Bernard Tomic has suffered yet another dramatic loss, bowing out of the Chengdu Open in China during the first-round.

The Gold Coaster was defeated 6-4 6-2 by Britain’s Kyle Edmund on Tuesday.

It was the 24-year-old’s first match since being beaten by Gilles Muller in the first round of the US open in New York last month.
