There are fears Queensland could be about to impose border restrictions on other parts of NSW, with Queenslanders being warned not to travel to the entire state.
It comes as Sydney’s COVID-19 outbreak continues to grow, with another 10 local cases recorded yesterday.
The Bondi cluster now stands at 21 infections, with authorities in NSW warning more cases are inevitable.

It’s prompted Victoria to now close their border to seven local government areas in NSW, including the City of Sydney, Waverley, Woollahra, Bayside, Canada Bay, Inner West and Randwick.
While New Zealand has also temporarily halted its travel bubble with the state after an infected person travelled from Sydney to New Zealand.
Yesterday, Queensland Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk dropped a major hint that our current border closure to Sydney’s east could also be expanded.
“If you’re a Queenslander, it’s probably best not to travel to NSW at this time, but we are keeping a very close eye on NSW,” the Premier said.
