Former soldier and Big Brother housemate Matt Filippi is hoping to show Australia what he’s got when he takes on the Ninja Warrior course on Monday night.
The personal training business owner from the Sunshine Coast has previously been deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan with the army, but he’s now facing his next big challenge: the Ninja obstacle course.
In a promotional video posted online, Matt says some people might think he looks a little familiar when watching him make his Ninja debut… and they would be right!

In 2013, Filippi competed against winner Tim Dormer on the tenth season of Big Brother Australia.
“Obviously sitting in a house you’re doing nothing, this is completely different,” Matt says of the challenge.
“I’m looking forward to being able to show people what I’ve got.”
