Emergency services have rushed to a busy Gold Coast road this morning after a bicyclist was hit by a car.
It happened along High Street in Southport around 7.15 am.
Paramedics assessed the bike rider at the scene briefly, before taking them to the hospital for treatment.

They’re understood to be at the Gold Coast University Hospital in a stable condition.
Queensland Ambulance Service did not confirm their age or gender.
