Bill Cosby escapes charges for sexual assault

BILL Cosby has today escaped charges over allegations that he sexually assaulted a 15-year-old girl at the Playboy mansion in 1974.

US Prosecutors cited the statute of limitations which restricts the length of time in which legal action can be taken after an alleged crime has been committed.

Judy Huth is the only woman out of 20 who has taken legal action against the 77-year-old actor and comedian in relation to sexual assault and rape accusations.

The alleged assault took place over 40 years ago deeming it unsuccessful due to the expiration of the statute of limitations.
