Blues win second State of Origin series in thrilling finish
THE Blues have claimed their first back-to-back Shield win in 14 years in a nail-biting Origin decider in Sydney.
A thrilling last-gasp try by James Tedesco sealed the Blues a 26-20 victory in front of a sell-out home crowd.
With just 32 seconds left on the clock and the game locked at 20-20, the superstar fullback ignited the 82,565-strong crowd as he scored the matchwinning try to deliver NSW its first back-to-back Origin series win since 2005.
Tedesco was awarded the Wally Lewis Medal for Player of the Series for his stunning efforts.
