Bluesfest nominated for ‘International Music Festival of the Year’ award

BLUESFEST Byron Bay has once again been nominated for the International Music Festival of the Year in the Annual Pollstar Awards.

It is the third year in a row the festival has been nominated in the annual awards run by Pollstar Magazine.

Bluesfest Director Peter Noble said he is thrilled Bluesfest has made the cut again this year.


“Bluesfest is honored to once again be nominated in this most prestigious of Industry Awards, short-listed and voted for by our peers,” he said.

“There are so many amazing Festivals all over the world these days, and to be nominated once was great, twice was amazing… and now three times in consecutive years … we are both honored and humbled by this announcement.

Bluesfest is the only Australian festival in the running to take out the award this year.

The 26th Annual Pollstar Awards will take place on February 21st 2015 in the Ryman Auditorium, Nashville, Tennessee, USA.
