GERMAN carmaker BMW says it’s recalling around 1.6 millions of its vehicles.
The recall affects the BMW 3 series model built between May 1999 and August 2006.
The top of the range car manufacturer says it’s made the recall due to a potential airbag problem.

BMW said on Wednesday in a statement, adding that it was a “precautionary voluntary measure to minimise the risk of the passenger airbag not opening properly.”
