A man’s been hospitalised after a nasty incident on the beach in Surfers Paradise yesterday.
It’s understood the man was injured while body boarding, around 2.00pm.
Emergency services were called to the scene around 2.30pm, following reports of ‘body boarding incident’.

They arrived on the sand near Clifford Street and Northcliffe Terrace shortly after.
The man – believed to be in his 30s – was treated briefly at the scene for back injuries, before being taken to hospital for further treatment.
He’s understood to be in a stable condition at the Gold Coast University Hospital.
