Body found after NSW house fire

A BODY has been found inside a house gutted by fire in southern New South Wales.

Emergency crews were called to the home on Jerrawa Road at Dalton just before 9.30am on Monday.

Upon arrival, the NSW Rural Fire Service and Fire and Rescue NSW found the home fully engulfed.


They desperately worked to extinguish the flames, however the house was completely destroyed.

Sadly, officers located a body inside the home. It is yet to be formally identified.

A crime scene has been established and the cause of the blaze is yet to be determined.
