Police investigate discovery of body found in Brisbane River
Police have sealed off part of the Bicentennial Bikeway along the Brisbane River following the discovery of a body.
It’s understood a member of the public made the discovery at Milton and reported it to police around midday.
The body, believed to be that of a man, was reportedly found floating in the water.
There are reports it could have been there for as many as two days before it was discovered.
Scores of police have saturated Coronation Drive and have sealed off part of the Bicentennial Bikeway as they investigate the death.
