A BODY has been found laying amongst the charred rubble of a burnt out million-dollar mansion on the Gold Coast.
Forensic officers have spent the last four days sifting through what remains of the two-storey Pebble Beach Drive home which exploded into flames at Runaway Bay around 4am on Sunday morning.
It was first thought that no one was inside the property at the time it caught fire, but countless efforts by authorities to contact the owner, a young father-of-two, went unanswered.

Police this afternoon confirmed that a body was located amongst the debris. It is yet to be formally identified.
Forensic Officers will continue to examine the scene as part of ongoing investigations.
