Body pulled from ocean at Bondi identified
A man’s body pulled from the ocean at Bondi on the weekend has been formally identified.
Just after 8am on Saturday 11 June, the body of a man was discovered about 450m east of Bondi Beach.
Police were alerted and a vessel from the Marine Area Command was dispatched to the area and the body was recovered.
Following the use of dental records the man’s body has been formally identified as a 20-year-old American citizen reported missing on Monday 6 June.
The young man disappeared after he was last seen on rocks at Bondi during a dangerous weather event.
