Four Queensland Bunnings stores were evacuated yesterday after bomb threats were made towards the hardware giant.
Staff members and customers were told to evacuate the Bunnings Warehouses at Rockhampton, Mackay North, Paget Mackay and Airlie Beach immediately just after lunch time on Wednesday.
The Director of Operations at Bunnings Michael Schneider released a statement following the threats.

“A bomb threat was reported regarding Bunnings Warehouses at Rockhampton, Mackay North and Paget Mackay and Airlie Beach on the afternoon of Wednesday 18th November,” he said.
“Police are currently investigating on site at all four stores.
“We will continue to follow police advice, with public safety being our number one priority. No other stores have been affected.”
An investigation into who made the threats and why is continuing.
