THE RESULT from this year’s NRL State of Origin may have already been decided, but another border rivalry is just heating up.
This Sunday the Tweed Heads Seagulls will come up against the Burleigh Bears in the Intrust Super Cup.
This is one of the oldest and most fiercely contested battles between two great rivals and both sides are looking to consolidate their spot in the top four ahead of the finals.

The Seagulls are currently in second place after eight wins on the trot, while the Bears are looking to make it three in-a-row.
Piggabeen Sports Complex will host the Sunday showdown, with the Fogs Colts to kick off at 12.15pm followed by the Intrust Super Cup at 2.00pm.
