A six-year-old boy has died after being hit by a car while riding his motorbike in NSW.
Police say the boy was riding a blue Yamaha Peewee 50 near a farm on Bishop Road at Griffith on Sunday 4 June when he was struck.
It’s understood the child travelled out onto the roadway, where police say he turned directly into the path of an oncoming ute.

The young boy was treated at the scene by paramedics before being rushed to Griffith Base Hospital.
He was then airlifted to Sydney Children’s Hospital in a critical condition, but succumbed to his injuries and died on Sunday 11 June.
The driver of the ute, a 54-year-old woman, escaped unharmed, however was taken to hospital for mandatory testing.
Investigations into the crash are ongoing.
