Boy arrested, charged over savage stabbing of 58-year-old man
A 17-year-old boy has been arrested and charged over the savage stabbing of a 58-year-old in Sydney’s Inner West.
Police said they were called to Williams Parade in Dulwich Hill around 12.20pm on Saturday.
On arrival, officers found the 58-year-old man seriously injured with a single, large stab wound to his back.
He was treated by paramedics at the scene before being rushed to the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in a critical but stable condition.
Just after 8pm last night, police attended a home in Gray’s Point and arrested the 17-year-old boy.
He was taken to Sutherland Police Station and charged with reckless wounding.
The teen was refused bail to appear before a children’s court today.
Police believe the parties are known to each other.
