Boy busted with 120 MDMA tablets while driving without a licence

A teenage boy is facing serious offences after he was busted with 120 MDMA tablets and driving unlicensed in Palm Beach overnight.

The 16-year-old came to police attention after he was spotted driving a black Commodore suspiciously at Townson Avenue around 3.30am this morning.

Police then searched the vehicle and allegedly located 120 MDMA tablets as well as quantities of cocaine and cannabis.

The boy was charged with three counts of possession of a dangerous drug, two counts of supply a dangerous drug, two counts of possess thing in connection with a drug offence and unlicensed driving.

He will be dealt with under the provisions of the Youth Justice Act.
