A 16-YEAR-OLD boy has been charged with attempted murder and aggravated sexual assault after allegedly trying to rape and kill a random woman during an utterly terrifying home invasion in NSW.
Police said the 43-year-old woman was asleep alone in her home when, sometime after four o’clock on Saturday morning, December 16, she woke to find the teenager standing over her bed.
It’s alleged the teen threatened the woman at knifepoint and, following a struggle, violently sexually assaulted her.

Following investigations, detectives from the Child Abuse and Sex Crimes Squad arrested the 16-year-old boy at a house in Coraki on Wednesday night, four days after the horrific attack.
