Boy flung from tray of moving ute

A TEENAGE boy has been taken to hospital after falling from the tray of a moving ute near Rockhampton.

It happened on Port Curtis Road at Port Curtis, south of Rockhampton, about 6pm last night.

It’s understood the boy was standing in the tray of the moving ute when he fell out onto the road.

The boy, aged in his late teens, was treated by paramedics at the scene before being taken to hospital.

He was transported to Rockhampton Hospital in a stable condition with arm injuries.
