A nine-year-old boy has had his life support turned off after being struck by an alleged drunk driver, south of Brisbane on Christmas night.
Josiah Sisson passed away two days after he was hit by an out of control car in Springwood, while he was looking at Christmas lights with his brother.
He was transported to Lady Cilento Hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Initial investigations suggest the driver failed to negotiate a turn, hitting a parked car, before striking the boy and then crashing into a house.
The 24-year-old driver allegedly blew three times the legal alcohol limit.
