A teenage boy has died after being hit by a bus in the NSW Hunter region this morning.
The boy, believed to be 15-years-old, was riding his bike along Mount Hall Road around 8.30am, when he was struck.
Paramedics desperately worked to save the youngster, however sadly he died at the scene.

A crime scene has since been established at the crash site, with investigations by the Crash Investigation Unit underway.
It’s understood the bus will be taken for further examination, with police confirming the bus driver, 41, will also undergo mandatory testing.
Road closures are currently in place, with motorists urged to avoid the area.
