Boy stabbed in the stomach in Sydney’s south

A 16-year-old boy is in a serious condition in hospital after being stabbed in the abdomen in Sydney’s south.

The teenager was reportedly stabbed during an altercation with another male in Miranda at around 8.20pm.

Police say they were called to Seymour Shaw Park on Parkside Avenue where they found the 16-year-old with a stab wound to his stomach.


He has been rushed to St George Hospital in a serious condition.

Police have cordoned off part of Seymour Shaw Park as they examine the crime scene.

No arrests have yet been made.

As investigations continue, anyone who many have any information that could assist police in identifying and locating the offender is urged to come forward.
