Boy left with internal bleeding after alleged rape in high school toilets

THE father of a teenage boy who claims to have been raped by a fellow student at his high school in Rockhampton says his son has been in and out of hospital with internal bleeding following the alleged assault.

The Courier Mail broke the news on Thursday. The incident is alleged to have been committed by a year 12 student and is said to have occurred in a toilet at the school, which has not been named.

Police have since confirmed they are investigating the disturbing allegations. At this stage, no charges have been laid.

Speaking exclusively to the Courier Mail, the boy’s father said his son was ordered to “pull down his pants” before he was allegedly assaulted from behind.

The father said his son had been “in and out of hospital” due to internal bleeding and has since tried to commit suicide.
